sleeping bags or duvets

Hi there, we are taking our new 5m bell tent camping this summer...to wales and then to France. We have a double air bed for me and DH and singles for the kids (although, aware that SIMs may be better), and lots of fleece blankets. But just wondering how essential sleeping bags are for me and DH or if our duvets are enough? Kids will have sleeping bags as they have them already. Thanks.

For France we always take sheets and duvet. I can't stand sleeping bags in the heat esp for 2 weeks! Kids have sleeping bags and single top sheets in case it's too hot 😀

Duvets will be fine if you don’t want to buy bags. It’s personal choice anyway. If cold In Wales put a fleece blanket under your bottom sheetfir indulation from the ground cold.

Sleeping bags every time here. I get too cold with a duvet.

South of France, or Calais?

Le Mans for a week...and then down to the Loire-Vendee (la garangeoire).
thanks for the info so far.
