Can anyone recommend any nice campsites? Pref. small and quiet, beside/near a pub that does good food and has a fun playground. thanks in advance!

Faith, this is not North York Moors so may not do, but we go every year to Howgill Lodge, near Bolton Abbey (Yorks Dales), which doesn't have a playground as such but has lots of kids staying - ours tend to amuse themselves, there is a steep path for rolling down on skateboards etc, lots of space for football including a pitch with goals at the bottom, and a nice pond with goldfish up at the top. The nearest village is Appletreewick (how cute is that?) which has 2 good pubs with food, and the site itself has a restaurant.

If you get into www.bt.co.uk, then Directory Enquiries, then Howgill Lodge, Barden nr Skipton, it should give you the phone no. HTH
