DH says no camping

it's early days for next weekend's forecast surely?
I thought the whole point of camping was to get soaked

We are going camping next weekend, have promised to take dd and her friend.

ukweather has a 10 day forecast. Am hoping it changes!

our forecast is showers , how bad can a shower be !

showers are wet in his opinion!

Its supposed to be summery where we are, but we're going Monday - Friday of half term week (so starting bank hol monday)

last year it said wet, we went anyway- was sunny enough to eat ice creams on Bournemouth beach, had drizle one night so ate out.

There is a whole week yet before they decide on the weather, even then they are quite likely to be wrong!

try typing Saudi Arabia into your weather forecaster then show dh that one - some surruptious cut and pasting may be required but it's worth a try.

we've just been camping and the forecast was supposed to be rain on and off....we never saw a drop of rain at all!!

I thought it was supposed to be sunny this weekend, I hope so we're camping this weekend, first time this year, but rain wouldn't put us off.

Dh has just asked me if I've seen a weather forecast for next week and I said "what difference does it make? We're going anyway!". The strange thing is, dd agreed with me and she is the least 'outdoorsy' child I've ever met. oh the power of camping! .

Weather forecast is even worse this morning. Due to majorly change with northerly winds and maybe even SNOW on Monday

I WANT TO GO CAMPING

But DD has tonsilitis, ds is complaining about a sore throat (ie wants a day off school and dh is too soft and let him get away with it).
DH is also complaining about the weather forecast.

Taking DD back to the doctors Friday morning, so hoping the doctor will give the all clear

Am trying to work out if it's worth while us buying an awning for our folding camper to give us more wet weather space :/ Bit moot as it won't arrive by tomorrow anyway!!

Keep looking at different online weather reports hoping to find a good one then I'll trust that
