UK, near the sea. Where to go?

Just adults, usually camping in the Gower so looking for similar beaches not too far to walk from the campsite. Any suggestions? Needs to be within a 3hr drive from Birmingham really.

Tenby

Bit more than 3 hours, but totally worth it for amazing, unspoilt beaches is Northumberland. Some great campsites around there very close to beaches.

I love the Tenby one. It’s 3hrs40mins so might be a bit far but I’ll suggest it.

The joy of Tenby is that you have town facilities in easy walking distance. And Saundersfoot walkable in opposite direction. Campsite is right on coast path.

Bamburgh in Northumberland. The most beautiful beach you will ever see and usually pretty empty! We've stayed there the last two weekends at the Warren Mill campsite at Budle Bay, an excellent site from which you can walk down through fields along a footpath into Bamburgh. You can also visit Holy Island from there, just a short drive across the causeway. A beautiful area you will not regret visiting.

Ellapaella I agree about Bamburgh, absolutely stunning, so quiet and unspoilt. My favourite beach of all times.

Shell Island,l or Llandanwg in Snowdonia.

Caerfai Bay just outside St David's in Pembrokeshire. It's lovely but very quiet

In the end we went to Ferryside, near Camarthan. Lovely, lovely place.
