Am looking for sites near/on the lake and am struggling...think need to be near Pescieria as hoping not to need the car (going by train)

My preference for campsites in the UK are basic +campfires..

but would like a pool as am hoping its going to be warm have no need for entertainment although DS will be 13 so a games room/tennis court/boule sort of thing would be great ..is not a massive joiner in of organised activities but may join in casual games......also somewhere it is easy to walk to local village/town to get icecream/lovely italian food / shop in market....

Any recommendations? - most sites mentioned seem to be talking about mobile homes not tent pitches....and when I can get info they look small! we generally prefer quieter places but need to balance with activities for teen

has anyone travelled around without a car - are we better staying in pescheira area or do other towns have good access to buses....
Any advice welcome - Thanks

We had a great holiday at camping Fontanelle. Not huge campsite but pool, on the lake, activities and walk to town with restaurants ice creams etc. Family orientated with wide range of children/teens
