The Cadiz looks better to me (taller and slightly longer) although I don't have any experience of either I'm afraid.

I've only had a quick look but I'd go for the first one - I think!!! Is it double or single skin?

Couldn't say which is best, only that we have one that looks very much the first one. We bought it new and I think it cost about £55. (Not Gelert, sorry can't remember make, maybe Sunncamp, but don't know for certain). It's been great, no faults with it. I would say one biggish difference is height inside, first one says 180cm, second one only 155cm. I definately like to stand up inside a tent.

Aaargh, can't do decisions!!! I'd have to drive to Southsea to collect the |Cadiz, but it would be a day out...dunno...dunno...

It says the Tornado is quick-pitching - that would be a bonus as will be me and 4 dc...

I'd say the first is better, purely due to height. Hydrostatic head(basically how waterproof it is) is good on first one - second doesn't give this value.

get the cheaper one and then when you want to upgarade (you will!) it won't seem too bad to buy another one (and you can ALWAYS sell on tents). we now have a 1) 12 berth, 2) 2 x 2 man and 3) a 4 man.......

Have bought the Cadiz. Better conscience-wise as it's 2nd hand, seems a better tent anyway. Oh, and we'll have a day by the sea. Fingers crossed for nice weather at the weekend.
