Hello all,

I wonder if any of you could recommend a suitable travel cot/ bed for a 10 month old. We are going camping in a 30 yr old tent which isn't high enough to fit our babydan travel cot...

any suggestions very much appreciated!!

well, this or this kind has a zip in the side so you don't need to get into the opening on the top, though the former is only good till 18mo.

Took DS camping last year at about that age and he slept on an ordinary air-mattress next to our double one. I was a bit worried that he would get out and trash the place as a lot of the food/etc is in with us but he was SO knackered every night that he was asleep within minutes
This year he is probably going to be in with his sister which might be even more interesting!!!

yes I have seen those...might have to invest. It would be nice to get something which will last a bit longer... I had an idea that we could get a ready bed and somehow shorten it with safety pins (or something safer) to make it suitable for a baby.

ive just been camping with DD who is 16 months and used a ready bed. shoved pillows in end so she couldnt slip down and also put her in a gro bag so she couldnt walk about (mean mummy i am!) took travle cot too but TBH it was warmer for us to have her with me on floor.

if you use a normal sleeping bag (rather than the ready bed one attached to the airbed) you can tie it up half way down with a piece of string...
