Campsites in Wales - Gower Peninsula

We are thinking about camping in Wales this Summer, as a change from our usual Devon/Cornwall holidays. Really like the look of the Gower Peninsular/Mumbles area. It will be myself, DH, DS 13yrs and DS 8yrs. We are in a campervan but don't necessarily need hook up. Happy with campsites that have basic shower/toilet facilities and perhaps a small shop and laundry. Not a big fan of evening entertainment. We like holidays with a bit of variety, nice beaches/walks/pubs etc. A few things to do in the unlikely event of wet weather!
Any suggestions/recommendations very gratefully received. Thanks in advance Smile

I camp at Hillend a lot - usually bank holidays and between May - August and haven’t had an issue with noise. Its busy, and you need to arrive early to get a good pitch so I can understand it might be noisy at night, just not something I’ve encountered.
