Campsites that will take groups of 16 year olds

My very well behaved DS wants to go camping with about 7 of his very nice friends (both boys and girls) next summer. Ideally close to public transport and if there are options then location best in East of England or Midlands.

Any suggestions. Will pay deposit if required as none of them are rowdy or heavy drinkers. Will follow rules re noise and ball games

I forget its name but possibly the one just outside hathersage in the peak district.

I think YHA Campsites accept 16 year olds.

Have a look at sites that take D of E groups, they will cater for big groups of kids.
Heres one in North Wales, kids love it as its on a lake and they are allowed fires.

Give some thought to catering is the weathers bad can they go to a local Pub etc
