Can anyone recommend me a campsite?

We just went on our first camping trip and loved it! We went to Sandy Balls which was brilliant for the kids but had a few issues we want to fix next time... we weren't able to book pitches and there were 9 tents of families in our group. You aren't allowed campfires... not even in fire pits / BBQ'. And they were very strict on noise.. someone in our group had a guitar and the children were all singing 'the wheels on the bus' to it at about 9 (before curfew!) and it felt lovely and jokingly wholesome... but they came and told us off..

Does such a campsite exist that is almost a wooded clearing for a group that size... but with lovely facilities... within a few hours of Surrey? Or am I dreaming

Longthorns farm wareham ive been loads they let you firepit and pitch up together and it is a lovely site. I can't do links sorry

Hurst View/ Solent View. South coast of New Forest. They have a field where you can pitch groups of tents. They allow campfires and fire pits, and BBQs that are raised off the ground.

Town Farm campsite allows firepits (they hire them) and have lots of groups in different fields. Lovely site.
Also love Longthorns Farm, Dorset.
Britchcombe Farm is our ultimate group proper campfire experience, but the facilities are very basic and no kids playground, just acres of outdoor space.

Fairthorne manor near Southampton has fire pits and things. Well worth a look
