Hi I'm completely new to camping and have to convince DH and youngest child it's a good idea. I need help with a tent. I kinda know what I want in my head but don't know if it will exist. Could you please post suggestions/links?

Criteria -

6+berth
Must have indoor space to sit if rainy
Pref 3 sleeping areas so kids don't fight (lockable doors optional Grin)
Totally waterproof
Some kind of awning/shelter to cook under if raining

We're looking for something similar. Considering vango orava 600xl, Outwell Glenwood and possibly a couple more. Getting very confused about which will be best.

Kalahari. 6/8/10
Porch optional. .
Separate tarpaulin to make kitchen in the trees as never safe to cook indoors in a tent!!

Outwells are usually good.

Zempire Aerodome III

Ticks all of your boxes but it's £££

We have the II and I love it. Very easy to pitch and take down and very spacious

Have you got a Go Outdoors shop near you OP? We had no idea about tents but they have loads up in the shop which really helps! And they're v knowledgable and helpful too

We have a Royal Brisbane 8, which we absolutely love.
