Best North of England campsites

I looking for recommendations for campsites in Northumberland, North Yorkshire, Yorkshire Dales or Derbyshire please. We are a family with 3 young children. I think we're looking for somewhere in a nice spot, with good facilities, good for families. What are your favourites? Thank you x

Depends what you want
Knight Stainforth has a lovely setting by a river. Rural setting but is a nice site.
We are going to one in Northumberland which gets good reviews but I have no experience yet. Budle Bay

We've just stayed at Catskills campsite in Bolton Abbey. Good facilities- fire pits for hire. Nice loos and showers, it was busy as it was august though. Nice pubs and walks nearby. Hesketh farm park is next door. Nice views too.
