I have been trying to find out where it is possible to wild camp and where fires are allowed... can anyone help with this? I am interested in the rules in France, Ireland and England..

I always have fires as most allow bbqs even if no to fires. Thus after the BBQ, I just throw on a few £1 logs. No one ever says anything if it's raised off the floor!

I am not sure about true wild camping, but you can search campsites through a campfire filter on both UKCampsite and PitchUp.com.

Tir bach farm. In Pembrokeshire.
Has a large fire pit for the site. And it hires out fire pits. You can forage for wood in the woods by the stream. Fantastic views too. Very friendly and quiet place.
We are camping in a field with a panoramic view of the pressili mountains. The stars are amazing!
