Hi I have average height 9 year old DS and thinking about somewhere for him to lounge at night while watching bands (Carfest North) - will he be too big for a pull along trolley type thing with cushions etc do you think? Any tips trolley related or otherwise gratefully received!

I should think at 9, if he's old enough to watch bands, in the evening then he's old enough to stand!

Or sit on a rug if he's tired.

It's a bit ridiculous to think of pulling a 9 year old around a festival OP! I have one myself.

Get him to carry a camping chair. Or you can get those sofas that you fill with air, they're quite good.

I have a 9yo too and I agree with MrsOverTheRoad.

Ha ha, can you tell he is a PFB?! OK yep, you are right. Chair and blanket should suffice. Really tempted with the air sofas but heard that lots of people get asked to deflate them/put them away. Thank you Smile

Air bed things are indeed a pain as they take up more than one person's fair share of space. When there's a crowd, if everyone had one it would get a bit silly. Get one of those groundsheet/rugs that bundle up with straps so they can be carried like a rucksack.
