Aldi event shelter - any good?

We are pondering buying this for our weekends away - better than our knackered Tesco gazebo but obvs not as good as a Coleman event shelter.
Anyone got one? Is it ok?

Did you get one in the end? I was thinking about it, but they're probably sold out by now. It looks very similar to the Hi Gear dome shelter at Go Outdoors, which has good reviews.

Yup - it arrived yesterday! Putting it up on our trip at the weekend.

Id be interested to see how they compare

Well we love it. And it's still available to buy online. Really pleased with it. Possibly the removable side panels won't cope with too much agressive/enthusiastic zipping and unzipping so we've banned the kids from fiddling with it.

thats great feedback, thank you.

Do you know if you can cook under this shelter?

JustHappy3 · 07/07/2017 12:38

We did. Though we had both ends open and we'd pitched it a safe distance from the tents.
We left our cooking stand in it overnight - on a poundland ground sheet and there was no dew on anything the next morning.

That's a great help - thanks! Off to buy one this weekend.
