Glamping or funky cottages in UK?! Your recommendations please

We have never camped with the DCs in the UK but I am willing to try it...we would like either a cool Glamping site or some sort of family friendly site with cottages / lodges but maybe more in the glamping / funky side of things than the Butlins / holiday village type thing...

Anyone got any recommendations? We can go anywhere BUT ideally within a 2-3hr drive of Sheffield (so no South coast!) Ideal would be Yorkshire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire or N Wales. Not bothered about on site activities (although would LOVE a hot tub) but near ish to some attractions / places to visit would be handy.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Featherdown farms? They had campsites around the country. Glamping in a safari tent. Some have hot tubs.

The Quiet Site at the Lake District is lovely!
We stayed in a glamping pod, but they have Hobbit Holes too which looked good Smile

Yep, just found Featherdown and that looks great! Just about to check out the Quiet site now.

Look up lodges on the Hoseasons site. Darwin Parks are very good.
