Just that, really. Anybody recommend a family campsite, preferably with swimming pool, in Burgundy or the Jura? Not sure if we're taking our own tent or staying in on-site accommodation yet.
Thank you.

We stayed here...
www.chalain.com/en/

It was a massive site real mixture of people staying there and some great facilities - the pools werent fantasticaly warm but we swam in the lake which was amazing....
we had a mixture of neighbours (took our own tent not great pitch but near lake end which was worth it) worst 2 lots of french teenagers who were up til 2am or so but they were just for couple of nights..

then sandwiched by 2 enormous motorhomes!

however there were lots of pluses - the lake was stunning it was easy to get to - there was lots of space for playing /ball games and the bars/restaurants where good and reasonable....lots of the already pitched tents like vacansoleil were there and had quite good pitches...

This place was on the lake too but at the side we canoed over and had a icecream for a nosy - it was smaller and looked 'nicer' but dont know about the pitches

Camping Beauregard is Mesnois has a really nice, warm and clean indoor pool and an outdoor pool with slide. It's in the countryside and you can hear the bells on the cows from your tent. I don't think any of the UK operators have accommodation there but the Dutch ones do.

Arney le Duc in Burgundy is great as is Patornay (spelling?) in Jura. If these sites could combined they'd be my fave ever. Arney le Duc has ok pool but great lakeside and is the quintessential French village. Patornay has a great pool and small riverside beach nice little village but only village shops with village prices - 5k to next town with supermarkets.

I clicked on the thread to recommend the Chalain campsite linked to above.
