QUICK advice needed re. camping with a 20month, 3 month & 7 yr old...
Is this do-able?

I will be going with just myself and a wonderful 13 year old helper and meeting up with lots of other mums and kids and a few random grannies.

It is a really safe camp field with heaps of activities for kids of all ages.

I have a mpv/mini camper van and was thinking about putting myself and the baby in a basket in there, the 7 yr old and 13 yr old in together but I'm not sure about the toddler...

he will still be in a cot at home, so I dn't know if it is best for him to come in the van with me and the baby but then he will be woken lots (probably)

do you think he will just get used to it? or should I have him in a travel cot in a tent with the 7 yr old and 13 yr old?

really really want to go, it's 10 days, but just need some helpful tips and a wee bit of encouragement please!

we're not ignoring you - honest - I'm just in awe or your plans

Will you have an awning on the camper? Could your 2 year old sleep in that, so he's close but not a whole tent away iyswim.

otherwise i'd have him in the camper with you if you'll all fit, just make sure the little one is asleep before you put him down then you have to creep in veerrryyy quietly

thanks lc,
yes it is very exciting! there is no awning but I wonder if I could perhaps bodge one up somehow?
I think I would worry about him if I had the camper door closed to him though.

otoh he could get woken up by the new baby several times each night and I might have to have a plan B prepared...

plan B anyone?

Sounds idyllic, where is it?

There is another option - the toddler could go in with another grubby little urchin toddler that I know....

Oh please please satine!

dinosaurs it is a place in norfolk where lawyer types get together and get in touch with their 'inner hippy' for 10 days and get all creative!

a very small and non-commercial style glastonbury -for families!

Ooh, sounds like a laugh.
I was Bucketsofdinosaurs last year but decided it was a bit too close to Dinosaur who was here first.
