Im looking at the pile of stuff we are accumulating for camping and starting to wonder how on earth we are going to be able to get us (two adults and two children) and the stuff away on holiday camping. How do you do it? Roof box? Trailer? Tow bar mounted box? or just two cars?

Zafira and a double roof box. The boot in the zafira is much bigger than an estate because of the height.

Fugly car but it works.

Oh we have 6yo twins and a small dog. If the dog was bigger we would struggle.

1 car. Put the children in the back and pack around them Grin

Mazda 3s are lovely but they have small boots. We ended upreplacing ours with an estate (we do a LOT of camping).
Completely agree with PotteringAround. When we were kids we'd be in the car first, and mum and dad would basically stack stuff around us. I think we spent about an hour longer in the car than our parents because of this. With no aircon, it was pretty uncomfortable on hot days and probably really, really unsafe having a deckchair behind your head in the event of a crash, but I still loved those holidays :)
