Has anyone been here recently?

We are going close by for a family wedding and planning to stay on for a few days. Will have 3DC between the ages of 8 and 12. It will only be for 2 or 3 nights so doesn't have to be lots to do, other than whats on the site, as we're doing some sightseeing beforehand

If you have been, would you recommend the accommodation your UK company provided? Thinking Eurocamp / Al Fresco etc. Also considering booking directly with the site for their "superior mobiles" or through Vacansoleil as their "Glamping" caravans look very nice. Is one company is a better position on the site than the others?

If you wouldn't recommend it, do you have any other recommendations?

We last went there 2 years ago and have been many times before that, it really is a lovely site. We have always been with Eurocamp but I think most of the companies are similar and it may be cheaper booking directly with the site. If you go on the Girasole website it gives you a site map so you can see where all the different companies' caravans are. The site is on a hillside so any accommodation at the bottom is shaded by trees but then it's quite a steep walk to the top part of the site (we still prefer to be here though), caravans in the middle are less shaded but closer to all the action. We are going again this summer in our own tent.
