Buying & Selling a Campervan

I have been making assumptions & I'd like to know how (un)realistic they are

I presumed buying an older Camper van & selling it 6 months later the price would be pretty similar/I wouldn't loose to much on the transaction

So am I right?

& what other advise can you give me? I know nothing about campervans

I quite like this but it's manual

The garage usually has a door on the outside of the motorhome and is where we store our hosepipe, electricity cable (for hook ups), muddly wellies, deckchairs, BBQ, kids bikes etc. The last link you have shown looks a bit too huge, 7 berth is massive and the over cab bed bit would make it pretty high. Have you tried hiring one? We paid £100 a night and we learnt so much about what we did/didn't like. Might be cheaper out of season and with electric hook up/gas heater you can camp any time of the year (we went away last weekend).

Thanks - the garage could be useful

I know it's big but we want to be comfortable

Possibly somewhere between the 2 - although I do like the smaller one

Hiya

We have a 24yr old Mercedes Hymer camper van. We found it online, bought it from Germany. Flew over to see it and then drove it back to the UK. The exchange rate meant we got a bargain. We love it, we can pitch up anywhere and last year we drove down through France, Switzerland and Italy and had a lush time. They hold their value really well.

That sounds good
