Cheaper versions of Eurocamp- who and where?

We went to holland and the Ardennes with vacansoleil last year and loved it, but they seem to have raised prices. Eurocamp also seems really expensive. Any recommendations for cheapish mobile home companies and sites? We have 4 kids aged 4-11. Swimming pools are a must, beaches/ canoeing/ activities also important. We plan to get a ferry to Calais, but can stop overnight and travel 6-7 hours a day. No idea where to start!

We've used lifestyle the last few years. Fabulous. Much cheaper than euro camp (I reckon 2-300 pounds per holiday). They tend to only be at "upmarket" sites; France and Spain. We've been to le bois de valmarie in South of France for last 3 years, can highly recommend (slightly more low key than others). Trying to choose one this year with a bit more for teenage, eg football. Highly recommend Lifestyle holidays.

I haven't used them for years, but Matthews Holidays used the same sites as EuroCamp but were a lot cheaper.

Canvas Holidays and Al Fresco are often cheaper than eurocamp. You can also try the foreign versions of the sites.

Roompot is worth a look. However it might be cheaper to book direct with the sites. I really want to go to one with a safari park just so I can say I've stayed in a Jungalow.

Lifestyle are fab! It ll be our 5th time going with them. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. This year for El Delfin Verde, Eurocamp or Al Fresco were £200 per week more expensive for a smaller mobile and air con and bed linen was extra. They are on 2 new campsites in Spain this year, Cala Gogo and International de La Calonge on the gorgeous Costa Brava. They're also in France. Wish they'd branch into Italy as I have researched every company, but haven't found anything like their value.

When I was a kid my parents would take us to Eurocamp sites but we would use our own tent because it was cheaper. That is always an option.

Europcamp shares some of their sites but they seem a bit cheaper.

I always go with Canvas, I'm biased as I worked for them for a while it I think Canvas, alfresco and vacansoleil are all much better for less money. Have you been to yelloh vollage les Mouettes - I think it's only Eurocamp or vacansoleil but it's a great site.

When we went to Italy, we decided which site we wanted to go to and then compared all the different operators. We went with Venue which was half the price of Eurocamp and fab
