Anyone recommend something with heaps to do for small children? Think I'm after an Island version of Sandy Balls.

we are going to whitecliffe bay for may half term. Not been there before but looks fairly good with pools etc and walking distance to a zoo.
We got a good deal £135 for a week incuding ferry crossing.

PeachyClair does the IoW - yell 'camping' loudly and she'll probably turn up for you

PeachyClair · 18/02/2007 17:36

Yep

nodes point IoW- been there several times now, excellennyt for the kiddies (and right on the seafront)

shall fetch you a link!

My 3 are 3.5 7 and 6

Not as MC as Sandy Balls- but afaik there's nothing like that there- Nodes and the caravan and camping Club are the bestter ones, nodes if you want acticities

here

Make sure you go to the restaurant on the beach *(a 30 second walk)- might have a dodgy name but in the evening does lovely food, some good kids options too (decent pasta's / kids salads / kids steak as well as the norms)- and book, they fill up.
