The long road home - stopover places?

We're just about to embark on our first French trip with the caravanGrin. So excited!!
Our last campsite will be down near Montpellier and we aim to travel home over 2 days.

I've been procrastinating over booking a stopover for the way home but am going to have to sort it out. Have been thinking we might get as far as Troyes in one long driving day, then the rest should be fine the following day. Does anyone know if this is doable whilst towing a caravan? Maybe we should aim for something around Dijon instead?
I'd be really grateful if anyone could share their experiences.

We were planning on going from the Spanish border to Paris in one day, but have decided it's not feasible and we're better splitting up the trip and making it more fun rather than a chore.
It depends on how good the travellers are. Google maps say 5h45 and I'd add on a couple of hours extra because of towing. This year some of our days traveling are that lengthy, but my two are good travellers which makes a huge distance.
Will you share the driving?
Are you then heading on to Calais?

We are going down almost as far. We are stopping in Dijon on the way down, it's a beautiful place to stopover
