Things that annoy you in campsites.

I think we can take dirty/broken amenities as granted, along with noise from inconsiderate campers.

I'll start with sites that have perfect lawn quality grass pitches to camp on, usually in neat rows. It just feels like you're in your back garden rather than properly outdoors.

My dd1 went camping last week all she heard all the time she was there was a cockney woman shouting Sally every five minutes Sally was they dog !!

Opposite a couple who have brought (wait for it)....

A parrot. An actual living, screeching parrot. It was hidden in their caravan for the first few days and every time the damn thing squawked we looked at each other in confusion wondering what on earth the awful noise was every few minutes. This morning it's been brought outside so mystery solved! Why??????

Recently camped at a site and on the Saturday morning a family let their 2 kids out at 8am while they slept in. The boys cycled round shouting and generally creating havoc - taking things from people's pitches etc. The manager gave them both a big telling off and then went to explain to their parents why it was absolutely not okay to let them do that. I was full of admiration for her.

They were probably just vibrant kids
