Can anyone recommend a campsite in North Wales?

We have just bought our first tent and this is the area where we would to visit on our first trip.

We want to go past Rhyl but not as far as Anglesea as we don't want to go too far (from Midlands).

Any suggestions appreciated as we are completely new to this!

Plas farm in Abergele is nice, a little play area and woodlands walk where last time we went they'd hidden little gnomes/fairies along the route. Good facilities.

Better than that though a little further on is riverside camping near caenarfon.
It's gorgeous, a bistro on site, you can hire firepits £3 a night, badminton court, play area and all next to a river that kids can play in (there is a nice calm shallow part and they sell dinghys etc in the shop). It's my favourite I've found so far. Really reasonable in price too.

Wrong part of Wales but Naturesbase in Ceredigion is a lovely site.

There are some great N Wales sites on Cool Camping website.
If you want basic but beautiful I recommend Rynys Farm in Betws-y-Coed

We've stayed at Peniarth Bach farm in the past (near Abergele) although we stayed in a cottage, not camping. The owners were lovely.

Thank you!

I'll take a look, I think I'd seen the Riverside camping one.
