Staying in a Romany caravan- am I mad?

I think I may be mad! I've booked a camping trip for next weekend for Father's Day staying in a romany caravan! I thought it looked pretty (he'll blatantly hate it!) but realistically how cramped are they? It says it has a compact double bed and bunk beds, it'll be me, thee and DD 8 and DS 1! Presuming a duvet and sheets instead of sleeping bags will be ok?

It's going to be more comfortable than a tent, but less comfortable than your home.

Why on earth would you book it for Father's Day knowing he's going to hate it? I'd be really disappointed with DH if he did similar for Mother's Day. I think you're mad.

It may have been a little tongue in cheek that he'll hate it! More because there will be no to to watch football...he likes spending time with the children and there is an onsite petting farm which they'll love and play park so really as long as they're happy, he'll be happy! I'll of course be packing red wine for the night when they're in bed.

We have done this! Very small inside, we had a separate barn thing with a cooker in and a table outside. No room to swing a cat but it was fun for a couple of nights.

Ours came with a duvet and sheets, bed as hard as rock, table inside was ok when the bed wasn't made up and the narrow singles were ... Very narrow!

Oh, so he'll love it . Find a pub showing football. Drink enough so you won't notice the lack of space.

I'll give them a call to check about bedding as that would be perfect if they were already supplied! I rang earlier to check about whether a travel cot would fit and they laughed so I'm presuming it's tiny this one has a stove and allegedly a basin and toilet though God knows the size of that!

We had a stove, an alcohol gel burning thing. Yours must be bigger good news!
