camping with a baby

We are taking our 3 month old with us camping in couple of weeks time and I'm after some tips and advice?
I was going to take the carrycot for him to sleep in, I also have a gro bag and some gro suits. Obviously blankets, maybe a hat and mittens in the night? Any tips and advice will be much appreciated!

Muslins, we used so many muslins when ours were little on camp!
I actually found it easier camping with babies than I do with kids!
Do you have a sling or baby carrier? I found that far easier than the pushchair at that age. But I always liked the pushchair too for day time naps

I used to put mine in 2 grobags when they were in them - double bag all the way.

Oh, and an all in one waterproof suit so you don't have to worry about them getting damp on the floor

It's easy and lovely!

Milton if you sterilise anything. Something to lean against in tent if you bf at night. I can't comfortably sit up to feed when half asleep

How many layers of clothes at night? Yes we have a baby carrier so will take that and lots of muslins. What if it's really cold at night and I have to change his nappy? He usually is fine with the same nappy all night but never know. I'm really nervous and excited about this, my MIL said we are crazy and brave for going lol we also have a 3 year old coming with us.

Head torch for nappy changes. You can get fleece sleep suits off amazon (harder to find in shops in the summer!) that I used for them too.

this kind of thing

That's a good idea, seems warm and snugly. I'll have to check on Amazon then, thanks!
