Anyone stayed in a great campsite in Burgundy?

We are driving down to the Alps in August and would like to break the journey for a couple of nights in burgundy. Not bothered where in burgundy, but would like it to be near a nice town / and good restaurants.

The most important thing is that it has a pool. And ping pong. The boys will be 11&9.

Would really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

We stayed at Camping Le Paulet near Matour a couple of years ago. Can't tell you about the restaurants nearby, but the campsite was fab! Lots of sports pitches and a big swimming pool with slides and jacuzzi. Can't link on phone, but find it on the Flower Camping website.

Where are you going AnnP?

We're going to Lake Annecy for one week, stopping for two nights on the way. We have another week afterwards with nothing booked. DH wants to wing it and I like the idea of that, but I can't help planning and researching. It's what I do! I'm also a bit concerned about availability in the first week of August. We have a campervan so we can park up in an aire if no sites are available but 7yo DS will need somewhere to burn off energy after a day's driving, and proximity to food and wine would be nice.

I like the look of the Monday night entertainment at La Paluet, it looks...entertaining And I'm a sucker for Boeuf Bourguignon and frites.

La Grappe d'Or looks nice. Lots to do.

Where are you going Radiator? This is our first time to the Alps, have you been before?

Had a blissful fortnight in Camping Etang de Fouche in Arnay le Duc 4 years ago. Gorgeous site with pool and lake with water slide. Very quaint town. We'd go back in heartbeat.
