Advice please from anyone who has been there. We are booked to go this summer and just realised it clashes with olympics. Husband would like to be able to watch some of it.

Does anyone know if site has mobile signal/ broadband and site cost? We have been badly stung before with crap broadband and high cost and want to see if we can sort something beforehand. Many thanks!

Looking at Canvas Holidays website, the bar and beach bar both have TVs for football etc so bound to show the Olympics.

We were in France for the 2012 Olympics and spent a lot of evenings watching on the outdoor big screens at our campsite. Have fun.

Lovely site with bars which show sports events. It's great fun watching Olympic events with big groups of people from different nationalities!

The beaches near that site are gorgeous. Another highlight of that trip was going pony trekking around the standing stones.

However, the roads in and out of the area can ger super busy, so do allow plenty of time for your journeys.

We stayed at la grand Metairie during 2012 Olympics and could watch it on the screens in the bar. Gorgeous campsite with lovely surrounding towns and beaches - have fun!

We were there last summer. Lovely site albeit the pitches are pretty tight.

The bar has TV, DH and DS watched the cricket and other sports. The bar staff were amenable to putting on what they asked for.

Wifi was rubbish though. I paid about £25 to get wifi on our pitch and it was barely functioning. The free wifi in the bar was fine.

Don't know about phone signal though as we didn't use our phones.
