Due to things happening here that is causing financial meltdown - all my lovely camping gear has to go!

Slumberlux Vancouver 10 tent - sleeps 10 apparently, but would say 8 for comfort. Bought June for £120 inc del, would like £100 to include delivery (only used once)

Aluminium folding table - its not the 70x70x70 one, its the larger one. Cost £38 new, would like £30 inc del. (Used once at a car boot!)

Set of 10 Delta Pegs - cost £1 each, will sell all 10 for £7.50 inc postage

EHU - 3 sockets, used once. £50 inc del

Will be back with more - but thats all i can remember lol

we have a renault sceneic but no roof box

JARM · 09/01/2007 14:05

i reckon it should be ok, in fact you would probably be able to get the tent at the feet of the back passenger seats to be honest.

This is on another site :

Packed size;
Tent: 34 x 35 x 80.5 cm
Poles: 19 x 22 x 75 cm

I know you're miles awy, but if you manage to get it together and want to borrow our gear when the going gets better you are so very welcome JARM. You could get the coach to somewhere like Cheddar and we could meet you there with the stuff.

Hope things improve XX

PeachyClair · 09/01/2007 21:04

Jarm - how easy is the tent to put up?
we're looking for one, but it has to be simple (like us!)

JARM · 10/01/2007 11:57

unicorn, believe me it is easy!

poles slipped through the top - lift and attatch guys - hey presto done lol

took us 30 mins to put it up, and considering the size, was quite impressed lol

I have a printed sheet of instructions for it as they were easier to understand than the ones it came with (plus the writing on the originals needed a magnifying glass to reas lol)

dh is considering it...how many bedrooms are there, can't quite work it out.
presume all the bits are there?

JARM · 10/01/2007 14:54

its one large bedroom but with a dividing curtain down the middle, found it very handy as we have young children and didnt want them in a seperate pod to us.

All present and correct, literally bought it, went away for 5 nights and packed it away.

OP posts:
unicorn · 10/01/2007 17:10

oh, that may put him off,we previously had them in a pod on other side of tent.. is the curtain just loose fitting, or is it fixed/ zipped?

will have a think about it tonight, it looks nice and sturdy though - our last one was a bit er fragile in the wind!

JARM · 10/01/2007 17:13

it is a removable curtain, with toggles.

not to worry if its not what you are after.

it is very sturdy, we had battering wind and rain 2 nights and the tent didnt budge!
