La Sirene Argeles France doable without car?

We dont want to drive as journey is too long for DD(1). Found flights into perpignan airport so could get taxi to the site easily - but are we close enough to beach/nearby town/shops/restaurants etc to manage a week without a car?

We went to the Le Soliel site last year and you can manage without a car. Season dependent, there's a little train that runs round the sites and into town so you can just use that.

Our kids lloved La Sirene, and they did have a shuttle bus to the beach (although we took the car and had an overnight Campanile stop on the way)
