Bavarian Campsite recs?

We did last summer in the Black Forest and it was fabulous. We would like to go to Bavaria next summer - does anyone have any campsites they could recommend please?

We have our own tent, 3 children - would be looking for somewhere that we could chill out but has a playground, etc. A pool/lake nearby would be good - have never visited that area, so would be nice to have a few days mooching around Munich, a castle, etc.

If anyone can help, that would be fabulous, thank you!

There is a campsite in the city by the Zoo which was nice when I was there 10 years ago. Camping Thalkirken I think it's called.

Out of interest, where did you stay in the Black Forest? We're thinking of heading that way this summer....

Wiggly, we stayed at Campingpark Oase, in Ettenheim. Very nice site, lots to do nearby and the town pool (outdoor) right next door was lively, with great gardens. Was about Euro35 for 2 week family pass, very good value for money.

Close to Europa Park, Freiburg and many other places
