Best piece of camping equipment

So we have just returned from our first camping trip for four years and it seems camping equipment has somewhat moved on in that time. I therefore wondered what you thought was the best bit of camping equipment you owned as we are starting to compile a wish list for next year. Thanks

This was actually a downsize from a huge coachbuilt Motorhome that was just too big. I love my new van- it even has a fixed bed!

However, we started with tents and I still have tents of various sizes and all the clobber that we regularly lend out, and DH prefers cooking outside so we get to play with all the BBQs, kitchens etc.

Love it milli - any pics of the interior? I love campervans, I'm nosy about them, I'm sorry.

We are very old fashioned but before our last trip I bought an EHU. It was great, especially as our cooker is from the ark and I was on my own with the DC for a few days. Meant I could use a travel kettle with no fuss. It was a bargain too.

Think we need some sort of strange unit too instead of having the food in a box in the middle of the tent.
