Quechua pop up 3 man or...?

I am looking for a small, fast(ish) pitch tent for me, ds3 and dog to camp in. Dses 1 and 2 already have tents so I'm downsizing from a 4 man tunnel tent to something less hassle for quick trips.

Main considerations are hydro head of 2000+, bathtub groundsheet and warmth.

Do you have a Quechua fast pitch and, if so, are they any good in wind and rain?

Also looking at a Vango Delta or an Urban Escape Matsuri, which might be a bit small and crap but friend of friend is selling theirs cheaply.

Has anyone got any opinions, horror stories or praises to help me make up my mind, please?

We have a 3 man Q popup. Plenty of sleeping space for dh me and a toddler but might be a bit squished if you have a big dog (dog breath in the morning boak). Also not the big deal people say it is to pack away as long as you have a practice. Quality good too. We have a tarp over front as an awning.

Another thing to think about is your car tall enough to hold the popup disc shape on top of everything else when it is packed away (assuming your son/dog will restrict space for lying it flat in car). My Honda does but some don't!

Fine in rain BTW.

Thank you for this. Can I put it on its side in the car or does it have to lie flat? I was planning on slipping it down the side of everything else. Car os a people carrier so plenty of space.

Am now happy owner of Quechua 3 man pop up. Not tried it out yet but I've worked out how to take it down so am a happy bunny so far. Just need a chance to test it out before everyone goes back to school.
