Overnight stop off not too far from Calais.

We're getting the Chunnel at about 2 and since we'd have been driving for 6 hrs already in the UK, we just want somewhere decent not too far the other side. Main route is to Provence, via the Alps so we want head south, sticking close-ish to our route down south.

EHU isn't a must. we'll get there early afternoon and will be packing up after breakfast. Any suggestions?

There is a really nice campsite in Guines just outside of Calais www.camping-la-bien-assise.com

Second the site at Guines. That's who we've used for years. Easy to find and you feel you're in the country rather than Calais but literally 15 mins from the Tunnel.

We tend to use B&B hotels for an overnight stop. Really cheap and there are loads of them.
