Can anyone recommend a good family friendly camp site in Brecon Beacons for two or three families to camp together in August? Thank you.

No idea but if you search on here for the nearest town you will get loads to look at/reviews to read.

We have stayed at, and loved, Pencelli Castle. If you are a non-electric camper its a bit of a walk to the Loo's, but not too bad. Site is clean, lovely and good for kids and they were very kind and helpful when one of the children had an accident - in no way the campsites fault but they came to check on us and brought the children some goody bags.

Not sure can link on phone but www.pencelli-castle.com

We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was lovely: www.showcaves.co.uk/camp_site.html

I'd recommend a couple of nights (or just a day trip, it's about an hour and a half drive I think) around the Gower too if you're in that part of the world. Smile
