ALDINE self inflating mattress - any good?

Camping stuff in ALDI special its his thurs, we're in the market for some SIM has any one tried these ones? How did you get on with them?

I'm going tomorrow to see if I can get some. And any other nice camping bits I can find.

I bought one and have spent the last 5 nights on it. Definitely recommended. Far better and warmer than an air bed which is what I used to have.

I bought some, and tried it, my DD was fine with it but I woke up with terribly sore hips. Was limping around like an old lady. In the end I had to revert back to a normal airbed. I think I might use it on a camp bed, or on top of an airbed, but on it's own it didn't provide enough padding for me. Maybe that's SIMs in general rather than the Aldi ones per se as it did seem quite nice and squishy.

We're just back from a week's camping in not-so-warm and not-so-dry Wales using the Lidl SIMs on top of cheapy blow-up air beds and were lovely and cosy. You do need to use a fitted sheet or blanket wrapped around to stop them slipping off. But we definitely noticed the difference in warmth to using just air beds. Not too sure I'd have fancied just lying on the SIMs, but then we're campers who like our home comforts!

I did find it a bit slippy. Kept losing my pillows off the edge of it!

I bought us all an aldi sim and an aldi camp bed. haven't tested them out overnight yet but certainly very comfy for a brief nap in our trial run
sim only 5cm so don't know if I'd sleep on it on the ground,
