Obviously apart from endless sunshine!
Just wondered what everyone was hankering after as a new piece of kit?
We got this

at the end of last summer so it's still our new 'toy' and I LOVE it but that doesn't stop me trawling websites looking for more gizmos and gadgets!
I did see a portable hot tub on an American site the other day but it was $1000 so I'm thinking it's not ever making it's way into our stack of kit!

I love it!!
You are too clever with your sewing skills. I hope you patented that design or they'll be stealing it?
Really interesting that the inner isn't supposed to be midge proof. As it would be our 'at home in Scotland tent' that may be a deal breaker in this house. I guess we're meant to light an open fire and smoke them out though!
I am truly envious!

I reckon that the people at Nordic Outdoor are the best to ask about midges CampingClaire, the person I spoke to there had used the tent a lot.

I want to see them first and will then give them a ring. I would actually prefer to look at the canvas rather than the inner when camping though.

The tarp worked fine, it is a bit heavier than it needs to be though, when I looked up the fabric (bought last year) it is 8oz cotton canvas, doesn't need to be that really I don't think as we plan on taking this in our canoe

That is why I think that their groundsheet is probably the best bet.

I caught the other grown up here watching this film earlier

lavender we gave a pair of those chairs as a wedding present! They are very comfortable on the back and bottom, but awkward on the legs. Good for quick picnics and the like. Stunning design.

Thank you MrsH, that is useful to know. I think we will try the first one out at home before buying more.

We are camping in comfort at half term though with the trailer and absolutely everything we need to be too comfortable.

We actually have a brand new Albatros to crack open as DeW replaced it at the end of last year because we had had a few issues.

Have to say that the Tentipi tent is for a completely different camping experience - a real back to basics feel. I think my plans for a small weekend pyramid were well and truly hijacked.
