DD has outgrown her kampa air bed with sides and will need a sim for this year. Has anyone got one with a non smooth surface as ds just rolls off his (which s fine for him as he is a hot little thing- but she will freeze).
Also, I may have dreamed it, but I am sure I saw one wher you zipped the sleeping bag aroudn it? I defo don't want a ready bed as air beds have been crap for punctures/lasting....
thanks Smile

I've posted this before, but having been declared a genius, I'll do it again. Just put a SIM inside a (rectangular) sleeping bag. Extra insulation underneath and nowhere for DC to fall out of. For added grip put the SIM inside a duvet cover and fold it over underneath. I made a fitted cover, but appreciate not everyone wants to sew... A sheet sleeping bag might also do the job.

thanks for the tip... DD already has a sleeping bag (but it's mummy shaped)... maybe I can find a mummy shpaed sim...

Instead of a SIM use a basic foam roll out camping mat. They are much cheaper, kids are OK on them because they weigh less so don't squash to the ground, Decathlon do quite thick ones - which have foil insulation on the bottom so v warm - they are foam so have friction - and also being foam you could cut one to the shape of a mummy bag!
