We live in n ireland and usually get the boat from rosslare to cherbourg but my dh doesn't like the overnight boat so is thinking of doing the drive from Scotland to dover. Has anyone done this & have any tips on where to have an overnight stop ? We are travelling in a motorhome & would then like a mid morning sailing to calais.
