We currently have a double air bed but am thing of splashing out on an Outwell Posadas as hoping will be more comfy. Lots of people seem to use a SIM on top so I'm looking for advice about what works well for you??

I've got friends who swear by the air bed and SIM combo. It always slid off for me and in the end decided to go for a more expensive exped. They are awesome. Whilst more expensive (£180 for two, 10cm megamats which bind together) it seemed less risky than buying another air bed (that I can't find the hole in without putting in water) and another cheaper sim and still not being happy. I sleep on my side, am pretty hefty and sleep warmly and well. They also seem have great customer service if anything goes wrong too- delivering replacements to people with broken valves whilst cycle trekking!

Sorry am talking rubbish was £275 not £180. Still think it was worth it.

Ooh, I bought an exped megamat 10cm following advice on mumsnet. I am so v v v happy with it. I have a bad lower back and my megamat means I can camp in comfort. Absolutely worth the money.
