Recommendations for Lake District camping?

Can anyone recommend a family friendly camp site in the Lake District that has either on site or local non camping accommodation (b&b or such like)? We would prefer somewhere on the smaller side rather than a huge site.

Thanks!

Hollows Farm in borrowdale is a beautiful setting and has b&b at the farm as well as camping.

There's two fields and I think we inadvertently went to the party field when we camped there. Lots of drunken students, maybe we were unlucky?

The other field seemed quiter.

That sounds great! Thanks Viva. I will have a look... and just hope those students won't be back.

Any other suggestions closer to Windermere anyone? Thanks.

We go here:

www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/local-to-you/north-west/places-to-stay/camping-in-the-lake-district/low-wray/

They have pods if you don't want to camp in a tent.

Abbots Farm has two v nice camping/glamping barns that each sleep six. Awesome tea room and hand cooked meals brought to your barn. Lovely middle of nowhere location in South lakes. Windermere about 20 mins away.

You could also try The Quiet Site.

Park foot is brill, quiet if you pick the field by the water.
