....short duration 1-3 nights but ideally want a tent for me, DH & DS who is almost 6. To save me trawling the net - who knows of a tent that :-
has separate bedrooms but near to each other in case DS is worried, has a decent sized middle bit and ideally an outside sheltered awning type thing (& doesn't cost hundreds of pounds!)

I assume that there are sales at this time of year, so thought it may be a good time to think about buying! TIA

thanks for all the advice, I meant to get back sooner. We bought (in the end, after much deliberation) a Wynnster Hawk 8.
Would love to try it out but think the weather will be too chilly over half term. We may do a quick test in the garden !

We put our new one up on Sunday. It wouldn't fit in the garden so we took it up to the playing fields! Got a few funny looks, especially when the wind started to get up and we were all hanging on to it (my sister and brother-in-law came to help because of keeping an eye on my ds who has asd) and it looked more like a hot-air balloon. Great fun though and it looked fab when it was up.
