I am having to do my camping vicariously

I have been ONCE this summer, and that was the worst weather of the whole summer. Pouring, torrential rain all day Saturday.

Due to various domestic, medical, work and family commitments it just isn't happening.

I will get a short trip in before the end of the summer, though, come hell or high water.

Though hopefully minus either of those.

It's just not FAIR. And after all these years of hankering I finally have a pie iron. And haven't used it yet.

So, I am living my camping experiences through the camping Board.

Same here, we usually go 4 or 5 times a year but this year we have a newborn so haven't managed to go. I can't wait til next year when baby is a bit bigger. I miss it more than I thought I would!

I went on my first ever trip last week and I am now itching to go again! Hoped to get away at the end of August but the only weekend we can manage clashes with one of DDs trips so not looking as if we will get away again, gutted.
