actually going camping last week in august

Our poor tent has only been opened out once this year and that was in the garden to air it out
I have just booked to camp near York the last week in august
Is it too late then, the nights will be getting colder

Late August can be lovely, as can September. Have a fabulous time :)

It is a trailer tent so our beds are up off the ground

Even better, you will be fine. Lots of people will go for the week after the Bank Holiday.
