What route do you take from Calais to Vendee?

Hi there, you guys have all been amazeballs so far in replying to all my annoying posts! Sorry but I've another...!!!!

Everyone we've spoken to say to avoid Rouen so we're trying to plot our route and wondering how you guys do it? We're not fussed about paying for tolls etc we'd just like to get to our destination as fast as possible!!!

Rouen is an issue this year because of a fire in a bridge/tunnel 2 years ago and work is still going on to fix but it's supposed to open later this year.

You can avoid the problems by going round on the d6015 to pont l'arche. We have just gone /come back this way (Spain)and did it last year too (vendee and Southern France)

We've just done it, not realising the problems through rouen. The diversions are signposted but We did use an iphone sat nav thing as well through the town centre. It wasn't too bad and not too bad traffic wise (although we didn't hit it at rush hour).
