Looking for a smallish, basic site for campervan trip (2 DC 6+3).
Back to basics , natural beauty type thing.

Already booked into the wonderful Aberafon site and need a few nights somewhere else too.

TIA

Llwyn gwynnant is very nice. Near beddgelert. ( not sure about my spelling here, sorry!) you can walk up snowdon and use the lake. There is no electric hook up but the site is natural and you can make campfires. Reasonably prices too. Can get windy though!

Thanks Toothfairy, sounds lovely.
I went to Beddgelert in c.1987 on school camp!
Wonder if it's the same place Grin

Shoreside camping in Rhosneigr, relaxed, basic and cheap, minute drive from beaches and nice town with good (popular) chippy, Spar etc.
Been a few times and never disappointed.

White Lodge on Anglesey near Newborough beach and Fron which is close too.

We really like White Lodge and have stayed there a few times

Look up lligwy beach. There are two sites there, both nice. Right on a lovely but not packed beach. Not in the middle of things but not a million miles from towns either. I love it there (I'm from that way)....
