Near Paris - jablines or campix?

Has anyone stayed at either? Looking to stay near to parc asterix only choices seem limited for campsites. Jablines gets fantastic reviews but campus is a bit nearer?
There's also another smaller theme park nearby called Saint Paul - has anyone been there? Its much cheaper so guessing its like Gullivers world?

Ooh, this brings back lovely memories.I've stayed at Jablines twice (10 yrs & 4 yrs ago in May both times). It was brilliant, we were in GP's motorhome. Loos etc were nipping clean, DSs (6 & 3 at the time) loved the beach & swimming lake & playgrounds, there is lots of paths around the lake to cycle & scoot. We used it as a base for Disney (there was also a bus which stopped at the entrance and took you straight there), it's a bit of a drive to Parc Asterix though. Saying that, we are driving to Parc Asterix from Fontainbleau in a few weeks which will probably take twice as long!
Don't know about the other site I'm afraid but I have recommended Jablines to family & friends who go back often.
The DC aren't interested in Disney now they have discovered Parc Asterix, we were there on a Saturday at the end of July last year and didn't have to queue for anything for more than half an hour (the queues for the big stuff like Osiris looked a bit longer though).

Thanks. Beach looks lovely. How long does it take to drive to parc asterix? Would one day be enough for the park?

It's only about 20 miles from Jablines to Parc Asterix but that section of motorway can get very busy so I think between 45 mins to 1 hour.
We did everything we wanted in 1 day last year but our DC didn't want to go on the big rides so we didn't have to queue very much, we are going mid-week this year so if the queues are shorter I may be able to talk the eldest into going on Oziris with me Grin.
Special offer tickets here if you know which date you want to go. I've booked online & printed my tickets already, fingers crossed for nice weather on the day, it was really hot last year so the water/splash rides were brilliant!
Have fun!

That's great thank you.
Worth knowing about the section of motorway as I was thinking it was about 30 mins according to google.
Will be going end of Aug and midweek. Hopefully all Dutch and French will be back off hols by then.

We've stayed at Jablines a few times. An excellent site. I can't compare the customer service with other French campsites, but just compared with French customer service in general it was excellent: friendly, helpful, generous. Apart from the fact that the pitches are very worn (take extra groundsheets to put under your tent to protect its own groundsheet) I cannot fault it at all. The beaches and parkland are lovely.

It's very convenient for driving to Eurodisney, and the Eurodixney RER station is very convenient for day trips into Paris. Though, be warned, Paris is a very long and exhausting day out.

AsforAsterix, it is one of our way marks en route: we know we are about an hour away when we pass it.

Ok I really need to stay at jablines then, but think on this occasion need to find somewhere closer to parc asterix. The other campsite - campus - is north of the theme park. Wonder if that means the traffic won't be as bad?
