Camping breakfast - what can I make?

Hi, am going camping for the first time in ever next weekend, with some family and kids, and I am doing breakfast the first morning. Have a one ring burner and a small camping frying pan.

So, I will make posh coffee for the adults, hot choc for the kids, but what can I make for us to eat? Needs to be reasonably healthy/nutritious, looks like I have made an effort, but something that won't give me a nervous breakdown...

What would you recommend?

Foil parcel breakfasts sound fab!

I cook roast veg in foil parcels on the fire, but hadn't thought of breakfasts.

Bacon sarnies or blueberry pancakes are our fave. Camping breakfasts. We use the pancake mix in a bottle that you just have to add water to, shake it up and bobs your uncle!

I have done an egg over the Campfire in foil which worked great although it wasn't the quickest method I've ever used!

Wow there are some brilliant ideas on here! I have my list written, will be little boxes of cereal with milk in the packet (genius) for kids while the adults have posh coffee, followed by bacon sarnies all round. Really looking forward to it now.

Love the egg in foil over the fire!

Best camping investment we ever made - coffee filter thing that sits over your cup. Just put a filter paper and a couple of scoops of coffee in it, then pour over boiling water. Packs away to almost nothing and makes a really good cuppa.

Failing that, either those Lyons coffee bags from Waitrose, or a tin of instant (the posh kind).

Leave the packet in the box for stability.

FantastcMF: do freeze your bacon packets before stashing in the IceyT
